Tutorial Video: Basic Installation

by on Oct.22, 2009, under Instructional

Intelli-Site has posted our first tutorial video, and there is no better place to start than the Installation.  This video covers the three types of installation our software offers as well as details on each installation type.  This video assumes a basic understanding of the Microsoft Windows XP and 2003 operating systems.  This video is sized down to fit into this blog posting, however it is encoded in 1024×768 resolution, so be sure to click the full-screen icon in the lower-right to view in high-quality.

More videos will follow, which will be posted periodically on this blog.  Be sure to bookmark us, so that you have quick access to our most recent tutorial videos and other blog postings!

Intelli-Site has officially ended support for the 3.7.x code-base, replacing it with the latest 3.8 release.  For those of you new to Intelli-Site, the 3.8 version is our latest and greatest release.  Click HERE to view the most up to date feature-set for the latest 3.8 build.  In addition to multiple new DVR support, we have added in many other time-saving programming features that will save our clients time and money.  Making these modifications not only increases the stability of the software, but also increases our clients’ bottom line, lowering costs and allowing site-setup to be much more efficient.

Version 3.8 boasts features such as Enterprise connectivity, allowing multiple remote sites across the world to communicate seamlessly.  Assign card access permissions from the USA for a site in Madrid, Spain and have it take effect immediately at the remote site.  Run a Master History Report to view events cumulatively, from all connected sites on the Enterprise link, for the last month, or perhaps the past year.  Lock out remote workstations, or specific users in the event of a security breach.  Perform these task and many more essential functions in our easiest to use security software product to date!

Intelli-Site Blog Introduction and Overview

by on Oct.07, 2009, under Blog Related

Welcome to the newly designed Intelli-Site blog.  We have created this blog as a place where the Intelli-Site team members can post updates, news, tutorial/instructional videos, development information, security industry bulletins and anything else relating to our company and our customers.

While the blog will mainly be a place for us to post new information and updates, it will also be a portal for interacting with our customers on a more casual level.  Anyone can register, and make comments on any of our public postings, thus creating a dialog between Intelli-Site and the end-user; an exchange of ideas and knowledge.  We believe this will help, not only our software to evolve and mature, but also create a strong link between the Intelli-Site engineering team and you; the people who actually use our software in the field.

In part, this blog is meant to bridge the gap between developer and end-user, and create a common ground for client interaction.  Not only will your comments and responses to postings be seen by the Intelli-Site team, but also by our other blog visitors, most likely in similar situations as yourself, which should promote healthy discussions.  The comments section of any post can be used as a mini-forum for the exchange and discussion of new ideas.  We encourage this exchange, as this keeps our software an ever-evolving and maturing product, at the leading edge of the industry.

Be sure to check back soon and often for updates and tutorials that we will be posting regularly.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and out company blog.
